I'm just an old fashioned southern girl with a fondness for old things.
I guess you could say K. Gray really started way back around 1990 when I traveled back and forth to college at Auburn University; stopping by every antique store, mom and pop salvage shop and thrift store along the way. I have always loved the thrill of finding a prized treasure from years past. Luckily, that trait has been passed down to my younger daughter, Grayson, who enjoys decorating, design and vintage items as much as I do. She has been my estate sale diggin', thrift store hoppin', yard sale searchin' sidekick since she was knee high to a grasshopper. It was only natural for our love of treasure hunting to turn into K. Gray Interiors, she is the Gray to my K. To make life sweeter, my amazing husband Kenny, has really developed an eye for finding all the goodies as well. Life doesn't get much better than a hubs that loves to hunt (antiques, that is).
In 2016, we decided to begin sharing our beloved treasures with the rest of you via Instagram. We put our names together and viola, K. Gray was official. Through the years we have provided vintage and antique pieces to customers all over the country and even a few outside the US. Fast forward to today, we have expanded our little endeavor from Instagram and Facebook platforms to opening our own Showroom, a sales booth inside Irondale Pickers, furthered our services with K. Gray Delivers and now we are on the Interwebs!
We not only hunt vintage and antique pieces for our own homes, but I can honestly say we get the most thrill from finding pieces that bring joy to others.
